7 Attributes of a Highly Motivated Networker

Being a businessman using the Multi-level Marketing or Network Marketing Industry is a big challenge. Most especially if you are a newbie in this industry. It requires investing a vast of knowledge to get motivated to do the business right.

In Mindy Lilyquist blog last May 15, 2020, he gives 12 Tips to MLM Success (Improve Your Chances of Success), he mentioned that “Many people are scared away from network marketing, also known as multi-level marketing (MLM), because of all the myths and misunderstanding about this type of business. Part of negativity comes from reported low MLM success rates.

            However, a multi-level marketing business isn’t destined to fail any more than any other business. Regardless of the home business, you start, success comes from doing the work to build it.”


This clearly shows that joining or starting a business like this needs a strong determination to learn, explore, and invest, either your time, effort or resources with caution.

For that, we need to get some help from somebody who has been in the industry, who have proof of results, knowledgeable in the business world most especially in this industry, a mentor, or a coach that will guide you throughout your journey in achieving or running after to what you called DREAMS.

In his training, he gave us a lot of informative ideas that will make us realized that we have something to do, or not to do to make a difference. But, of all the wisdom he imparted us these 7 Attributes of a Highly Motivated Networker create an inscription to mind and my heart.

To share with you, here are the 7 Attributes of a Highly Motivated Networker.

1. Goal Getter

Most networker usually makes a goal set now and then. Goal setting is done to have a sense of direction and not wait to just happen of the results. It set goals or target earnings to get motivated to achieve the said objective. However, most networkers set high targets just to boost themselves to act with excitement. But the problem is no game plan at all on how will you get the goal. In short, “Don’t just be a goal setter, be a goal getter.”

2. Visionary

A person with a vision always ahead of those people who just think of things in a current situation. As a networker who has an organization or people under your network, must be focused on tomorrow and your organization’s ultimate goal or a sense of purpose and not just focus on today’s whereabouts to achieve it.

3. Choose to be Positive

It is not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters. Every situation deserves a different reaction. Though sometimes some situation does not require a reaction. But whatever it is we should choose to be positive about what just happened in your business. Be an optimistic person, confident, and focused on good things rather than bad things. But it does not mean to disregard the bad things that just happened. You have to see the positive side of the bad things that just happened.

4. Be a Leader

A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way. It is leading by example. What the monkey sees, the monkey does. Show them how to do it by doing it yourself and not just command them to do this, to do that, and so on. Being a leader, you must have the capacity to transform the team’s “Vision” to “REALITY.”

Usually, good leaders make sacrifices for the benefit of their followers, in return, the followers make sure that their leaders will not put in vain. The best thing a leader will do is to take good care of the people in his organization, and in return, the people will take care of his Business.

5. Do things with Integrity

Doing something right and not what is easy or convenient. It is doing your thoughts and action based on your values rather than your gain. As we all know, most networker fails because when doing this business they thought of the earnings they will gain rather than thinking of how they will learn, acquire knowledge, and help their business partner.

C.S. Lewis once said:  “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching”. It is more of your true nature rather than a show-off.

6. Take Good Care of Your People

In a Networking Industry, like I-fern, is an industry that used people’s time, effort, money, and resources to achieve its goals. It is the very nature of our industry that leverage is the key to success.

As a leader in your organization under your network, there are people under you who trusted you, gave their money, and time because they believe that you can help them achieved their dreams. Then, you must make sure that whatever promised you mentioned will be fulfilled.

Network Marketing is a relational business where we build good relations with our prospects, partners, uplines, downlines, crosslines, and other people to make sure the highest possibilities of success.

The goal is…Take Good Care of your people under your network so that they will make a way to take care of your business for you.

Take note…we are in a Helping Business.

7. Work for the FREEDOM…not for the MONEY

We must not work only to SURVIVE but to THRIVE. Look for ABUNDANCE in all aspects of life.

We only have 3 Sources of Wealth in the World. Those are:

Money, Health, and Time. Most of the time those three were not available in our lifetime. Just either of the two…Health and Time, Money and Health or Money and Time.

  • When we are young, we have the HEALTH and the TIME, but we have no MONEY.
  • When we are in our middle ages, we have the MONEY and HEALTH, but we have no TIME…too BUSY.
  • And then when we get OLDER. We have the MONEY and all the TIME in the World, however, our HEALTH may not be that good anymore.


The lesson is…We must seek to find ways how those 3 SOURCES OF WEALTH OF THE WORLD will be available at the same time in our LIFETIME.
